Brief Answer:
Features suggestive of Acute Gastro-enteritis..

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I really appreciate your concern for your beloved wife.

She needs to be examined by a doctor to evaluate her clinically like her vital signs BP, signs of dehydration (dry mouth, eyes, lips), abdominal examination to come to a conclusion.
From the history given, apparently she is having stomach upset suspicious of infective diarrhea.

Had she been my patient, after checking her general condition etc, I would have advised her Oral antibiotics like combination of Ornidazole+Ofloxacin given twice daily for 5-7 days, oral rehydration solution powder, Sporolac (probiotics) to reduce the frequency of the liquid stools, plenty of oral fluids like coconut water, etc.
She must avoid taking hot and spicy foods, and solid foods as well.

If she is severely dehydrated she needs IV fluids to replace the water and electrolytes lost through diarrhea.

Hope the suggestions given above could be useful in getting her relieved from stomach upset.

Should you need more clarifications, please feel free to send your query.

Hello doctor,

thank you for the response. is there anything that we can do for tonight to ease the pain? like lemon juice or anything that you would prescribe for now since the clinic will be closed now.

Also my mom has homeopathy solutions as well.. Any specific medicine that we can use that you prescribe.. I can check with them if they have that medicine.

thanks again XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
She may take a PPI drug>

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Hi
Thanks for your query.

Well, she may take a PPI drug like Pantoprazole to ease the pain due to stomach upset.
Besides, you can give her yoghurt (dahee), butter milk (chhaach), etc to ease the stomach pain.

Hope this advice will be effective in reducing her stomach pain.
Have a good time.
