Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain, Diarrhea, Occasional Vomiting And Weakness
Don't worry about possible leukemia, very unlikely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting your query to HCM,
I read your description very carefully and will try to address it in the best way possible.
From what you are describing: Vomiting and diarrhea, together with fever, and same family member with same symptoms...all go along with an infectious gastroenteritis.
In general it should last 1-2 days with vomiting, and up to 1 week with diarrhea. and you should start getting better. Its infectious, so thats why your mother in law has it also. Be careful to not pass it on to other people you live or work with.
It should be self limited, with only need of symptomatic treatment, no need for antibiotic. --Drink plenty of fluids, often and small amounts, oral rehydration therapy if needed; --probiotics may reduce duration of acute diarrhea, check whats available in the local pharmacy; --Antibiotics or antidiarrheal drugs recommended only if fever lasts more then 3 days, and if you will have bloody diarrhea.
I don't think it is connected with the rash. Also, its quite impossible to be leukemia, since your mother in law has the same symptoms and that is rare in one person, so imagine how rare would be to happen at 2 people in same time.
So together with my advises, see how it will go for almost 7-10 days. If its getting not better or worse, then consider seeing your local doctor, so he orders some labs and rules out other conditions. This one is the most probable and common.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if you have other questions. I would be happy to answer.

To reassure you: Some labs recommended below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again dear,
I'm glad to hear you feel better. The stomach pain will get better as well, just make sure to drink plenty of fluids as we discussed before.
About your rash: Yes, I was it, and I see you are very worried about it, since you are asking a lot of opinions about it. In your age is very, very rare to have serious problems, and your symptoms does not seem to be worrisome as well. It really look like a contact dermatitis, and your history of jogging before it happened may have been the cause of it. Anyway, since you are so worried, I would surely recommend to do some blood work ups and a physical exam to your local doctor, so he sees you in all systems, and collects all the data to see if you have any problems. Sometimes talking helps also.
About the sore spots, they are generally viral. They may have come due to the last viral you have had. Without a picture though, or a close look I wont be able to say for sure. So, again my recommendation would be to see a local doctor and rule out all the thoughts you are having about your health.
Some labs you could do are:
..CBC (complete blood count)- will rule out leukemia, possible infections in your body, anemia, or blood clot problems (if there is any chance that the rash is connected with it).
.. Lipidogram- a profile of your blood lipids
-- Kreatinemia, transaminasas- will check kidney, liver functions
-- Urine analyse- will have a overview of your urine for infection, hydration, or other problems that are discovered there.
These labs are recommended to get done once/year in every person over 20 y/o. They cover most of the problems in your body, and if any of them comes not normal, then you can go deeper in diagnosing the problem.
Hope this was helpful to you.
Let me know if you have other questions, or if you decide to do the labs, I would be happy to guide you further.
Take care.

Keep an eye on all the symptoms, if not better- consider check-up.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I think, all these symptoms may be part of that virus: Nausea, diarrhea, fever, body aches (muscular aches), maybe rash in form of skin sensitivity... still part of the virus.
No, doesn't look worrisome.
Keep an eye on them. Everything should be doing better. Anyway, if you see them getting worse, then surely consider checking it up, with the visit and labs we mentioned above.
Let me know if I can help with anything else. Please don't forget to rate the question of you don't have other questions.
Regards,
Dr. Papaqako.
