Suggest Treatment For Severe Tinnitus, Chronic Back And Shoulder Pain
Question: I have severe tinnitus, hyperacusus, chronic back and shoulder pain. Feel im close to a mental breakdown. Nothing ive tried has helped? Where do i get help?Mayo

As far as chronic back and shoulder pain is concerned , it needs to be assessed clinically before a reasoned conclusion can be drawn. If I am your attending physician I will get the x ray of the affected shoulder joint and of the spines which are painful. After then I will be able to proceed.
You can use acetaminophen and volitran gel to relieve pain. It would be better to seek orthopaedic surgeon advice for it.
Tinnitus and hyperacusis , on the other hand, doesn't seem to be related to back pain. There is need to perform a detailed ENT examination to rule out the probable cause. Sometimes, its just infection which is giving you these symptoms. Hearing impairment do gives you these symptoms
so we need to rule out meniere's disease. There is need to undergo various lifestyle modifications to cope with it.
