Suggest Treatment For Severe Tonsillitis And Dry Throat
Question: Hi. Ive had a bad case of tonsilitis. Now my throat is extremely dry and sore. Is there anything you advise to take? Also can tonsils flare up and block my breathing? Im a little bit of a hypocondriacte and very worried

I have gone through your query; and suggest you that you may go for the throat swab culture and antibiotic sensitivity and treatment according to test result. For dry and sore throat I personally suggest you antibiotic after the test result and diluted hexidine and hydrogen peroxide mouth gargles
For your kind information, your tonsils will not flare up so much to block your breathing.
If you are having recurrent attack of tonsillitis and your condition is not improved by the conservative management then better to go for the throat swab culture and antibiotic sensitivity.
