Suggest Treatment For Severe Tooth Pain

Tooth infection, RCT, Crown, medicines
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
As far as the pain in the upper teeth is concerned, the possible cause can be infection in the crowned tooth. Ideally before giving bridge or crown, the teeth has to be treated with root canal treatment and then crowned. Because if there is excessive tooth cutting to give a crown can cause irritation to the pulp(third layer in tooth where the nerves and blood vessels are present) and cause infection and pain.
Consult a oral physician and get a radiograph of these teeth done to rule out the infection.
If there is infection in that tooth, it has to be treated with root canal treatment and the crown has to be repeated.
Regarding your benadryl syrup. it has nothing to do with the pain, it might be a coincidence.
So consult a oral physician and get it treated.
If i am your treating doctor, i would suggest you to a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin 500mg and metronidazole 400mg tid for 5 days (if you are not allergic) and then proceeded with the treatment.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
If any queries are there, reply me back.

pulpitis, penicillin, analgesic
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply, The pain while sleeping or lying down is a characteristic feature of pulpitis. Take the antibiotic course for 3-5 days maximum. The pain will reduce when you take medicines but it will come back again. Till you take the treatment it will be there, once the treatment is started, the pressure will be released inside the pulp chamber, then pain will reduce. You can take a pain killer along with the penicillin till you consult your dentist. Get it treated as early as possible.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
