Question : I have a severe toothache and nothing is helping. im a 34 yr male and its putting me in tears. I cant take the pain.

Dental caries is also called as tooth decay or cavities in tooth.

In general terms it is decay of tooth.

This occurs generally due to bacterial contamination of the tooth down the tooth enamel leading to decay of the tooth and causing cavities.

This decayed portion when comes in contact with food or otherwise starts paining.

This needs to be examined by a dentist and if necessary the defect needs to be filled up with appropriate materials.

Meanwhile dentist will also prescribe you pain killers to reduce your pain.
