Suggest Treatment For Severe Vaginal Bleeding While On Tranexamic Acid And Gynerol

Take Tranexa and Duoluton
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Since she is having heavy bleeding, the first thing we need to do is to stop the bleeding for this she needs to take Tab. Tranexemic acid 500 mg three times a day till bleeding stops.
But since the bleeding is heavy she also needs to take another medicine which contains progesterone hormone to stabilize the lining of the womb to prevent its shedding, for which reason the Gynerol-n was given. And when you discontinued it the bleeding again started.
The Duoluton is an estrogen and progesterone combined pill used for 21 days daily, it is an oral contraceptive pill. You could take that and tranexemic acid , but continue Duolotun-L for 21days for it to be effective, if you discontinue it in between it can cause bleeding again due to hormone withdrawal.
You can discontinue tranexemic acid once bleeding stops.
After the bleeding stops you need to know the cause for the Heavy menstrual bleed. For this a pelvic ultrasound, TSH levels, and blood counts including platelets need to be done. Also get examined by a gynaecologist to rule out any local cause.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Regards.

She has taken the course of Gynerol-n and Tranexa with some antibiotic (Azee) continuously for 14 days. But no result.
Then Tranexa and Duoluton, just for one day and then discontinued as our kind is only 6 months old and she feeds him. As another Gn said Duoluton may have side effect on kid.
Now from 18th January, She was prescribed Fewave, Medroxyprogesteron, ceftas-200, drotapil, enplus for 5 days. After taking these medicines she is feeling better. Are these medicines safe for her as well as kid? How long she have to take these? I have uploaded the picture of medicines.
Any other thing you want to share.
Thanks and regards
All can be taken.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The Fewave is an iron containing medicine to increase her haemoglobin it has to be taken for 3 months.
The Medroxyprogesterone acetate is a progesterone hormone containing pill and as long as she is taking it she will not get bleeding. This medicine does not affect breast feeding and so can safely be taken. She should continue it for 21 days and then stop.
The Ceftas 200 is an antibiotic for use in cases of infection for 5 days.
The Dropatil is a pain killer to reduce pain it needs to be taken only if pain is present.
The Enplus is a multivitamin to be taken for 3 months.
These medicines are safe for mother and baby and can be safely taken by a breast feeding women.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
