Question: Im on holiday and had vomiting. Saw dr in evening and he gave injection, pills and rehydration drink. Next day and today had diahrea like water. Imodium nothelp

Hello,
Most likely you suffered acute gastroenteritis.
If you have no fever or blood in stool then just take adequate fluid intake and some probiotics.
Loperamide can also be taken if stool frequency is more than 5 times per day.

Thank you. I hsve checked the pills i got from pharmacy this morning and they are loperamide. I have taken 3 and it is still pure liquid. Is this normal? I was told no more that 5 pills.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
It takes around 2-3 days for control of gastroenteritis.
Just take one or two more loperamide tablet today night and take light food with plenty of Fluids preferably ORS or electral powder.
Probiotics cap or sachets can also be taken to get normal gut flora.
