Question: Hi. I am trying to figure out what my sin was bitten by. He said he felt something biting him when in bed at his father's house. He had many big welts with a hard substance inside each welt.

Hi I had a look at the picture. It is Urticaria and an allergic reaction which is most probably due either to a bite as you correctly said or could also be due to something he ate.
Please ask him to take an acid suppressant like Omeprazole along with an anti allergic like Fexofenadine for a week.
