Suggest Treatment For Severe Whole Body Itching When Diagnosed With Renal Cell Carcinoma

Need further investigations...
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Your case:
- 68 years old female
- personal history: renal cell carcinoma, lupus, diabetes, sarcoidosis of the lungs; personal history of the stone in bile duct; gallbladder removed
- current symptoms: overall body itching
`
Taking into consideration your medical history, to my opinion, your current symptoms of overall body itching is due to the stone you have in the bile duct.
Please take into account that although you have your gallbladder removed, there are still bile pathways inside the liver called bile ducts. If there is stone there, depending on the size, it could give symptoms same as gallbladder stones.
So, I'd recommend to consult with gastrohepatologist to evaluate the bile ducts and run a series of the blood tests:
- liver/kidney function tests
- abdominal ultrasound
- blood uric acid
- complete blood count
For the moment, until you see your doctor and run the requested tests, I advise to take over the count anti-itching drugs (e.g. benadryl).
Hope this helps. Wish fast recovery.
