Hi there.
Thanks for writing in.
1.Since you said you had your blood work done, I am presuming your
Hemoglobin,
thyroid function tests, blood sugars were checked and within normal limits.
Hypothyroidism can present with hair loss, cold intolerance, headache.
2.Other possibilities are migraine,
tension headache ,sleep apnoea,or
nutritional deficiency.
Do you sleep well at night?Any history of snoring?
How many hours of sleep do you get every night?
Have you had any history of migraine ,that is, unilateral
throbbing headache associated with nausea or vomiting?
The fact that headache and nausea is there early in the morning ,might be due to anxiety, probably you are tensed or worried about getting a lot of things done, anticipating a hectic day, and you are feeling stressed out. After a while, you tell yourself it is going to be Okay and you start feeling better.
I would advise you to do the following...
Regular exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week.
Exercise releases a lot of endorphins which will make you feel good and energetic.
It will be helpful in avoiding tension headaches.
Also , do sign up for yoga and relaxation classes. In the long run, it will help you relax and also be helpful in avoiding tension headaches and migraine.
Keep yourself well hydrated. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.
Dehydration can also precipitate headaches.
Do visit a general physician for a complete evaluation.
