Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Left Temple

Question: My fiancé is experiencing a sharp random pain in left temple, which hurts continuously when swallowing and chewing. Also when she presses on back of neck muscle, it hurts.

The blood vessels in the temple contain Histamine receptors which are also present in stomach and food pipe.
Every time there is a problem in the stomach and esophagus, you can experience a throb in the temples.
In fact most migraines arise from the stomach and are related to what we eat.
Once affected, the blood vessels remain sensitive for sometime. Hence when you press on back of neck etc, the sensitive area hurts.
This is what is happening to your husband.
Please give him Omeprazole 20 mg twice a day plus Paracetamol 500, for three days. He will be fine. You can revert back with further queries.
