Just wondering if there are other symptoms to keep an eye out for if suffering from a deficiency? I'm exclusively breastfeeding at the moment and itd be interesting to see what I've been writing off as just general aches and pains.
Also, does this affect the little one at all? What measures do I need to take to make sure hes healthy too?
Thanks so much
Yes there are other symptoms too to keep an eye on!!!
Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you back with a follow up query!
Yes, keep an eye if you feel pain in neck and shoulders, thighs and abdomen; if you feel shortness of breath or difficulty breathing on exertion or climbing stairs etc.
Breastfeeding also takes the nutrients off of the mother. Thats why I asked you for proper healthy diet for you.
No it will not affect him much as he is taking his full diet out of the breast milk and breast milk is a complete diet for the baby.
He is healthy and OK and ask his Pediatrician if he is fulfilling his developmental milestones in a timely manner. If yes, he is fine and no worries. If he is lagging behind in developmental milestones, have less percentile of height, weight and head circumference then it means that there is some issues. Mostly we necessarily give Polyvitamin and Iron supplements to the babies too. Ask his Pediatrician for the same.
Hope I answered all of your health concerns . If you have further questions, feel free to contact me anytime. Always write my name in start of your question in future, and I will get back to you in no time. If satisfied, please give your generous 'five Star rating' and don't forget to 'Close the discussion'.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards!
