I am 63 years old man suffering from dorsal myelopathy for the last 25 years-totally dependent on walker--on self intermittant cathrisation--digital evacuation of stool--back leaning inward legs becoming weaker and crossing each other-spastic paraparesis upper limbs are
Trauma or viral infection or vitamin B12 deficiency or compressive neuropathy or post chemotherapy may present like dorsal myelopathy. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. It may present like tingling and numbness of peripheral parts, loss of muscle mass and bladder and bowel involvement etc.
Sorry about your health condition, you may be suffering from spastic paralysis. Need to confirm diagnosis by MRI spine, serum B12 levels estimation, serum electrolytes and nerve conduction studies. Physical exercise, supportive care may useful. But please review with reports or consult with your neurophysician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
