Suggest Treatment For Shingles On Forehead, Scalp The Skin

Question: after having shingles on my forehead and scalp the skin is really sensitive is this normal?i had shingles almost a year ago; would getting the shot help me now?

Thanks for the query

It is normal to have sensitivity after shingles. It is most often because nerves are affected during the episode and it takes a very long time for it to heal

Here is what you should do

1. Tab pregabalin is a wonderful drug for this type of sensitivity. You can take one at night
2. Vitamin b12 supplements help in faster healing of the nerves
3. It takes time and it will come down very gradually
