Suggest Treatment For Short Term Memory Loss

Question: I seem to have short term memory lose. I went to a neurologist and he did tests on me and said that I did not have any thing like the beginnings of dementia or Alzheimer. But called it something else. I was told to try the product metafolbic plus that it would help my short term memory. It is so expensive, but it does make a difference. Any suggestions?

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
Metafolbic Plus is a supplement that has no randomized controlled trial showing it is any more effective than placebo. It is not likely to help. There is no medication that has been shown to prevent Alzheimer's disease. You can participate in online cognitive training which has shown some benefit.
