Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Nausea During Pregnancy

Yes, it is normal, do not worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mrs XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy !
I wish you a wonderful journey of motherhood.
Now for your questions.
It is very normal to feel out of breath and tired during pregnancy.
These are all hormonal changes.
The blood supply to the baby increases, and hence your body has to work harder to provide nutrition to the growing child.
Do not worry, asl ong as you are healthy, it will not affect your baby.
The heart beat getting faster is called palpitations, these are also normal during pregnancy.
You should have an evaluation to know that all is well.
The ultrasound should show that the baby is growing well.
Get your hemoglobin levels checked also.
I understand that nausea will be interfering with your diet and nutrition.
Please take tablet Sinate - OD once or twice a day, that will help with the nausea.
Spice up your food with lemon, herbs, etc.
Eat whatever you like to have, but fresh and hot.
If your blood tests and the ultrasound scan are normal, then your baby is fine.
You will feel better once the first trimester gets over.
But if the palpitations and breathlessness are too severe, and interfere with your daily life, and sleep, please have an opinion by a cardiologist just to know that there is no major cardiac issue.
All the best

Are there any symptoms to watch out for ?
As below
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand the anxiety.
But a miscarriage mostly happens due to chromosomal abnormalities ( genetic defects ) within the baby.
This is a random event of chance, and can happen to anybody.
Most women who have a miscarriage go on to have a successful pregnancy the next time round.
You have to bear these facts in mind, and try to relax.
Anxiety will not help in this pregnancy.
What particular symptoms are you asking about right now ?

As below
Detailed Answer:
Okay, warning symptoms would be - unexplained cramps, pain and pressure in the lower abdomen, bleeding or spotting, passage of a fleshy lump or tissue etc.
Please relax, I think you are fine.
Get your hemoglobin and thyroid levels checked however.
Please keep me posted.
Take care.
Prayers for you.

I just have one more question, i have this stretchy feeling in my stomach .... Like ive excersied ... No pain or anything ... Just this stretchy stone like feeling
Not to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Often happens in the first trimester.
The uterus is growing and stretching, hence that stretching sensation.
As long as the scan is okay, and you are not having undue pain, there is no reason to worry.
Take care.
Keep me posted if there is anything you wish to ask.
