Brief Answer:
Operative treatment can help

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic for posting your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar.

I have gone through your question in detail and understand your concern. There seems to be two problems. Both of these unlikely to resolve by excercises. One seems to be hamstring shortening and tightness. Due to this you can not straight your knee. This problem probably relieved by hamstring contracture release and hamstring lengthening operation. Second problem is shortening of leg (bony) . If bones are short then these can be lengthened by bone lengthening operation by illizarov or monorail technique so that you limp less. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Wishing you a good health
Take care.
