Question: lyrica side effects are pretty daunting. I'm wondering if they occur in most people and whether they go away over time?

Brief Answer:
Read below.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

I understand that reading the list of side effects may be pretty scary, but I must say it is like that for most medications, even some widely used over the counter drugs. That doesn't mean all that is going to happen though, most listed side effects happen in a very small percentage.

Coming to Lyrica again most of the listed side effects present in less then 10% of patients. Some of the most common ones which I would say are reported by about 20-30% of patients are dizziness and somnolence (for some patients may diminish in time but not all) followed by weight gain, trouble concentrating, blurred vision in about 10-15% of patients. Of course that depends also on the dosage, the higher the more likely, if 150 mg or less are less frequent.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.
