about half of it is gone in about a day, the titration was reasonable. It would be just about gone. The way it is dosed implies that it has its effects when it is there and they leave when it is gone. This is unquesitonably true for its zombification effects. This may or may not be quite as true for its anti psychotic effects. Its effects on bipolar disease are from both actions.
Then.... there is the question of side effects. This is far more complicated than the textbooks let on. They mention but then ignore the statistical questions. Drugs are associated with sun rising and moon phases. We decide not to call that a drug side effect, but we do call menstrual effects, headache, even broken bones side effects of a drug when they are no more likley to be really due to the drug. Furthermore every drug has as a side effect the condition it treats. Anti headache drugs are associated with headache. Anti depression medications are associated with depression.
Then there is the philosophic issues. If something is a background feature, like being a nice person, it doesnt get noticed and doesnt get to be a side effect. If something is blocking a disease effect and you remove it and the disease effect pops back out, then it becomes a withdrawal effect of the drug when this isnt a very good description.

prolixin is a depressant of thoughts. I am not sure what you are saying.
my mind still seems be going 100 miles per hr like every thing is so clear i cant seem to slow it down
is that more with the prolixin? occurring only when given the prolixin, or happened when the prolixin is stopped?
If the thoughts speed up when off the prolixin that would be the USUAL case and a reason to have supervision on making any changes in ones medication.
cannot say in your paricular case.

speeded thoughts in mania/bipolar need medication. Drug effects generally get better when the drug goes BUT psychological changes from them (being upset) can last even for weeks after. (CBT counseling .. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is helpful inthose cases.
