Question: My doctor has prescribe Wellbutrin 150mgxl (5 days ago) for some mild depression and 1mg of Ativan BID for the anxiety that goes with it. Two questions...

1. Getting used to the Wellbutrin seems to occasionally blur my vision and make me a little woosy . Is this normal? and OK? I'm told this should pass.
2. While taking both can I take a couple of Advil for a headache or minor pains

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for asking from HCM for your health related doubts

I can understand your concern. Coming to your doubts-

- Wellbutrin is Bupropion and the drug can cause side effects like dryness of mouth, irritation, dizziness, nausea, constipation, blurred vision etc in some patients. These side effects are seen more during start of therapy but with passage of time tolerance to side effects develops. So occasional blurring will pass with time. This is normal with this drug. No need to worry.

- Advil or Ibuprofen can be taken with these drugs. There are no serious interactions.

Thanks, I hope this helps you. Please don't hesitate to ask again for more doubts.
