Question: I have a sinus infection with pain in neck and shoulder. Should I be on a antibiotic?

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Since you are having a sinus infection, it is advisable that an antibiotic should be taken.

You have already tries nasal spray and advil and i suggest that you continue the same.

I would also like you to start steam inhalation 2-3 times a day, this will reduce the congestion.

In my patients i normally start amoxicillin 500 mg thrice a day for 7 to 10 days and assess the clinical response.
