Brief Answer:
seems to be acute stage of sinusitis.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having sinus infection. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any head-ache or fever ?
Is there any post nasal drip (sinus secretions trickle back into throat) ?

Kindly get back to be with the details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to acute sinusitis.

Doxycycline, do work in acute sinusitis. but, I prefer simple cap.amoxicillin (in view of side effects and drug interactions) 500mg thrice daily (need medical prescription).

With that, do steam inhalations, do drain sinus secretions from sinus openings, start over the counter nasal decongestant drops (afrin-xylometazoline) 3drops/3times and tab.tylenol 500mg twice daily for head-ache and tab.citrizine 10mg at bed time for relieving running nose.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
needs antibiotics.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Kindly follow the instructions what, I have already mentioned. Regular steam inhalation and over counter nasal decongestant drops helps to a great extent. However an antibiotics use is necessary. I suggest use of amoxicillin 500mg three times a day for 3-5 days.

I do not think, online prescriptions are valid. And by law, I cannot send a prescription without physical examination.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
