Suggest Treatment For Sinus Problems

Question: Hello I'm having sinus issues everytime it's usually the right side but sometimes It will switch to the left within minutes I've had this for about 3 months now. it's harder to breathe sometimes out've one nostril and if i try to clear it nothing really comes out.. and there's a pressure in my sinus if I try to clear my nose and also will push to my ears and will feel like a mild pain when doing so trying to clear it out... also when I swallow water it feels like water is in my ear sometimes.I do smoke and everyime I do there's a big pressure that goes in my sinus a pressure that hurts. I find it weird though that it will switch sides is this normal? and can this be fixed... I do have tmd issues aswell.
I also went into an ent that did a scope look at everything and said everything looked normal and it wouldn't be worth getting a ct scan but that was two weeks ago and still nothing, he said that must be a underlying problem.
& sometimes for a second my passages will be clear and then one side again within a minute will be blocked this is weird.

Brief Answer:
Post nasal drip, look for triggering factors....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
From what you are reporting, it seems that you are having problems with post nasal drip.
I am happy to know that ENT examination resulted normal.
Although what you are experiencing might seem to be bothersome, it is not worrisome.
I advise to :
- continue medications your doctor prescribed and you are currently taking
- observe if any food, drink or smoking are triggering or aggravating your symptoms
- check for other issues like acid reflux as you are reporting to be an active smoker.
Hope it was of help!
