Brief Answer:
Pseudoephrine not recommended

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns and questions.

I am sorry to hear that you are having nasal congestion from allergies or from sinusitis. Since you have hypertension taking any decongestant like pseudoephedrine can elevate your blood pressure. I recommend that you not take any decongestant to reduce your symptoms.

I do recommend that you try a nasal saline spray which can reduce congestion and also try a nasal steroid spray like Flonase for chronic nasal congestion.

In summary
1. Do not take any decongestant medications
2. Try Saline nasal sprays
3. Try Steroid nasal spray for chronic nasal congestion

I hope this answers your question. Please contact HCM again with any of your health care concerns
