Hello. Thank you for writing to us.
I have taken note of your query and I have understood that you are concerned about rashes.
Omnacortil is Prednisolone which is an Oral steroid.
Steroids are antiinflammatory and immunosuppressive and therefore effective in a lot of allergic and inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, allergic dermatitis, allergic rashes.
The decision to use oral steroids depends on severity and extent of involvement as well as the most likely/ probable cause.
A short course of an Oral steroids can be really effective in some allergic skin conditions, however, they should not be used for more than the duration prescribed.
Oral steroids are usually reserved for widespread itchy rashes.

Hi.
I have reviewed the Images. Though the Images are not very clear and I request you to upload a few more better quality Images.
I can faintly make out that there are discrete, red, raised bumps on abdomen, back of neck.
Going by the distribution of lesions I will keep a possibility of Scabies even though you mentioned that these lesions are non itchy. Scabies is usually itchy, specially more at night.
Nevertheless, in a small child of 6 months, it can sometimes be difficult to judge whether the lesions are itchy or not.
This does not look like a food allergy to me and I suggest you to withhold Oral steroids for now.
I would like to know does anyone else in the family has itching?Or itchy skin lesions? Or were there any recent visitors in your house with similar symptoms?
Does she sleeps well at night Or does she tries to scratch on her skin?
You may rather give her 2.5 ml of syp cetrizine 5mg/5ml (Alerid syp), once or twice daily.
Topically you may apply a soothing lotion e.g Calamine lotion
I want you to upload better quality images so that I can see the lesions clear and focused.
Regards
