Question: I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX IN DECEMBER, AFTER A LONG ABSENCE FROM SEX.
THEN DEVELOPED EXTREME THRUSH,AND NOW HAVE WHAT I THINK IS RAISED PERIANAL SKIN TAGS JUST INSIDE THE LIPS OF MY VAGINA.
I HAVE GOOGLE PICS, THATS WHAT THEY APPEAR TO BE?
THEY ARE PLUMP SHAPES.
THEY ARE UNCOMFORTABLE IF MY UNDERWEAR IS TOO TIGHT.

I AM 54 YEARS OLD, AND HAVE HAD ANOTHER SKIN TAG INSIDE MY VAGINA FOR A FEW YEARS.

Brief Answer:
You really need a proper examination by a physician to make a diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

Skin tags on the vulva or vagina certainly can appear in areas of chafing on the body. They are most commonly present in women who are overweight or who may have skin that rubs together or rubbing from their underwear that irritates their skin in a certain spot. The "skin tag" is actually a reaction of the skin similar to a callus formation in an attempt to protect the area from chafing. Unfortunately, the skin tags themselves can get caught on clothing or be irritated when your legs rub together, so if they are uncomfortable when you wear clothing or in other situations, it may be best to have them removed.

However, there are other causes of bumps to appear in the vulva and that vaginal area that are not skin tags. The one that I have the most concern about is genital warts, which typically appear anywhere from a few weeks to a few months after sexual contact with a person who is a carrier of the virus that causes the warts to form. Genital warts are typically raised and feel rough to the touch, they also can be flat and soft and resemble skin tags or moles.

So in your case, the best recommendation I can make is to have you actually see a gynecologist or other women's health provider who can actually take a look at the bumps and either remove them, which would both treat the condition and allow a pathologist to make an accurate diagnosis, or treat them by other means once they visually make a diagnosis. There are self applied creams and topical solutions that are available with a doctor's prescription that can gradually dissolve skin tags or warts without a procedure.

I hope that I was able to adequately answer your question today, and that this information was helpful. If I can be of any further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me again at healthcaremagic.com
