Brief Answer:
Yes it is possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

There are multiple medications which are FDA approved to control sleep problem ( hypersomnia as well as insomnia). They can be used for variable time depending on the condition.

But in my opinion before moving medications it is important to practice sleep hygiene as a better option to regulate sleep.

In case you are not following sleep hygiene please refer my article at https://www.icliniq.com/health-articles/health-topics/emotional-and-mental-health/how-to-sleep-better-tips-for-getting-a-good-nights-sleep

I hope this helps you.
Thanks and regards
