Question: I noticed this black raised really small bump on my labia majora a year and a half ago showed it to my doctor during my routine pap test she said to monitor it and if it gets itchy or bigger to come back. Recently i noticed that it might have gotten a bit bigger I am of east XXXXXXX background and generally darker so thought its just something that happens to darker women. But i am concerned now as I looked at pictures online and got scared i also have high anxiety when it comes to health concerns I have not seen my doctor regarding this due to conflicting work schedules I am just really worried. The area does get itchy after my period but it goes away its an over all itchiness not concentrated in that area. I have attached the picture and magnified it.

Brief Answer:
Punch biopsy needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam

I have carefully read your query and understand your concern.

Do not panic to such an extent since your pap has turned out negative and growth of the lesion has been pretty slow.Hence this most likely be a benign vulvar lesion.

In my opinion,it could be a fibroepithelial polyp as perceived through your posted image.

I recommended you to get a punch biopsy of the lesion rather than a pap smear for accurate diagnosis.
