Suggest Treatment For Small Bump On The Anus

Question: I have a small bump near, but not on, my anus. It has been there for several months but has not bothered me until yesterday, when I was washing in the shower and it felt like a blister that seemed to pop while washing it. Now it has pus coming out of it when I squeeze it. I've had occasional bleeding with bowel movements in the past few months but my doctor told me it was likely just hemorrhoids and gave me some cream for the symptoms. Any idea what the pus-filled bump could be?
Brief Answer:
Hemorrhoids
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
The bump/blister what you have near the anus is most likely to be a hemorrhoid. Pus like substance can come out of it occasionally especially when it gets infected.
Here is what you should do
1. Do not press or try to burst open the blister as it can lead to profuse bleeding and in worse cases a fistula
2. Continue to apply the cream
3. Keep your anal region clean
4. Get yourself examined by your GP, I suggest you to get a hemorroidectomy done as soon as possible. It can be surgically removed ( by a surgeon) or sclerotherapy can be done ( by a gastroenterologist)
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
