Brief Answer:
Superficial veins thrombosis or small hematomas.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Can you please attach a photo of it? It will be much easier to give good answer.

Shin is the area where superficial veins are right under the skin. Injury of this area can give a thrombosis in the superficial veins. This usually results in hard and painful bumps appearance under the skin which can stay there for months. Bruising indicate that the injury was in the veins area for sure.
It is also possible that this bumps are nothing more than a blood which has appeared outside the veins and created kind of hematomas.

Both conditions (superficial veins thrombosis and small hematomas) are not serious and no need to be concerned.

The reason to be concerned are painful calf, swollen shin and pain while walking. In such situation, veins Doppler ultrasound should be done to determine if there is no deep veins thrombosis.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
