Suggest Treatment For Small Leakage From The Vessel Near The Optic Nerve
Question: Hi, I went for my routine eye check yesterday and the optometrist noticed what he called as a "small leakage from a vessel near the optical nerve in my right eye. Due to previous eye injuries I have a number of "Floaters" in that eye, but the optometrist said there is no floater sitting nearby the leakage. My blood pressure is mostly about 115 / 75, I haven't noticed any headaches or nausea or vomiting. In the past month I had the flu with a lot of congestion in he sinuses. The optometrist wants to perform a dilation and take photos of the inside of the eye and an ultrasound. My vision has not deteriorated in the past 3 years. I am a 54 years old female. Thank you
