Brief Answer:
Not related to medications.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. The symptoms appear to be not related to medications. Tamsulosin was started for prostate symptoms. Acyclovir for possible viral cause of ulcer. and Sulfamethoxazole, to treat any secondary bacterial infection of ulcer. Amongst these, acyclovir could cause renal toxicity, if you have a prior renal symptom.
2. Back pain requires evaluation of renal cause. If prostate symptoms were present previously, then urinary tract infection appears to be the cause here.
3. Get a Urine microscopy done to look for any abnormal findings. Upper urinary tract infection, can present with this symptom.
4. It might be resistant to sulfamethoxazole. Also improved hydration is necessary. Take at least 5-6 liters of water per day.

Based on urine examination, further opinion possible.

Meet your doctor for tests. Do complete the course of prescribed medicine.

Hope it helps.
