Question : I have a real bad sore throat, chest congestion and a slight cough what do you suggest

Thanks for the query.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are having upper respiratory tract infection.

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids ,
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Antibiotic Azithromycin 500mg /day for 5 days &
tab Paracetamol for pain twice daily .

You will need to see your doctor to get a prescription .
You will get relief .
