Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Cold
Question: ive had a sore throat and a bit of a cold for 2 days now. please advise

Your symptoms suggest of upper respiratory tract infection.
If I were your treating doctor I would suggest you cetrizine 5 mg twice a day.
Nasoclear nasal saline drops, instill 2 drops in each nostril for 4-6 times a day. Steam inhalation twice a day after nasal drops.
Salt water or betadine gargles twice a day.
If you will not get relief from sore throat after 2 days then I suggest you antibiotics like azithromycin 500 mg after lunch once a day for 3 days. This is a prescribed medication.
