Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Pain While Swallowing

Question: I have had sore throat and painful swallowing for 48 hours. I sought med care at local clinic. I was told by PA that I had a small piece of a med that I take stuck in the back of my throat. I could see this in my mirror at home. She dislodged it and sent me on my way. All symptoms are much worse today. I have pain meds I'm using and am gargling warm salt water. Any other ideas. Thanks

Supportive care
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Sore throat was due to the foreign body lodged in the throat and now that its dislodged the swelling will subside gradually. Use warm salt water gargles and take some advil for the swelling and pain. Take warm comforting beverages like green tea, herbal tea mixed with honey.
Always take at least 8 ounces of water with the pill to prevent such pill lodging in throat in future.
I hope it helps.Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
