Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Cough And Chest Pain

Question: I have a sore throat w raised top and bottom of mouth, a cough, phlegm, sore back and chest when coughing and now my right ear feels clogged and a little achey. Do i need a script?
Brief Answer:
For now NO. Tylenol 1000mg every 6-8hpurs is enough!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I have reviewed this information fully. It is suggestive of a viral infection of the upper respiratory airways. This generally doesn't require a script as no antibiotics are needed. Tylenol along side good diet, increased fluids intake and regular exercise is enough. You should be fine within 5-7days unless something else comes up.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.

I have had the sore throat now since last Saturda and cough has not gone away.y
Brief Answer:
COugh wouldn't go away soon. But, you shouldn't have pains!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It's normal for the cough to be around longer. You should no longer have pains. If you do and have difficulties swallowing spittle, let me know. If that's not teh case, then healing is going on well.
