Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Headache And Nausea
This could be related to allergies.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for posting on HCM.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. I have reviewed all the information that you have provided. The periodic nature of these symptoms alongside your past history of allergies makes this more likely to be an allergy. I will like you to match these symptoms to what time of the day and what activity or milieu is associated with them. If this is always in the same settings, then there should be a possible allergen(s) in that setting which you should identify and stay away from.
For now, these symptoms pose no immediate threat to life. Giving ourselves time to understand more about the context in which they occur and more information on new symptoms would help make a good diagnosis. Remember, getting the right diagnosis is capital to treating right. Let's us not jump to trying medications when we are not settled on what the cause is and for now, there is no clear danger that warrants drugs.
I hope to addresses your query fully. Feel free to request for further information and specifics if need be and I would gladly address them.
Could be a sinus infection but not fully!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.
With the cough, posterior drainage into the throat and pressure at the bridge of the nose between eyes, this could represent a sinus infection. However, the absence of fever, headache which is intermittent in nature(not typical of sinus headache which is often permanent) makes me think we lack enough information to conclude on this at this time.
For now, controlling your symptoms would be what I suggest. Advil for the headaches and Benadryl for possible allergies routinely as recommended by a pharmacist for a few days and then evaluation. Like I mentioned before, there is reason for aggressive medical intervention right now.
If with routine medications for headaches and possible allergy we get no relief, then we may want to do a sinus xray to check this out.
Let me know if this sounds like a plan to you and what your take is. I will also address any further worries at this time if there are.
Keep me updated on this!
