Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Headache, Sinus Pressure And Cough

Question: Illness started early last week with sore throat, headache, sinus pressure and cough. Got a bit better, baby sat granddaughter who probably had neurovirus....vomiting, diarrhea and headache. After being with her, got diarrhea and stomach pains, nausea and headache for 2 days. Then initial symptoms have strongly come back. Pressure in sinuses, raspy throat and XXXXXXX is. Do you think this is all the same bug? How much longer will it last?
What else to take?

Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having streptococcal throat infection. You would need detailed clinical evaluation and treatment. Empirically you can take anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol 500 mg + diclofenac 50 mg combination drugs twice daily for 3 days. With anti histamine and decongestant tablet twice daily your sinus pressure will reduce. Steam inhalation and hot water gargling will help you. Consult doctor for further assistance and antibiotics.
