Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, ear Pain And Night Time Wheezing
Nasal block or wheezing could be the cause...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank for posting the query
1. After going through the query, I do feel you could be having nasal block which may be the cause of your throat pain, earache and the wheezing.
2. Nasal block leads to mouth breathing, during which all the water from the throat is drained out, making it sore and irritating. Also, nasal related problems can block the Eustachian tube (the tube connecting nose and the ear) giving rise to earache.
3. Alternatively, the wheezing during night causes sore throat because of the hyperventilation. During strenuous breathing, the moisture in the nose and the throat gets drained out leaving the throat sore. Hyperventilation can also cause earache due to blockage of the Eustachian tube.
4. An infection or inflammatory problem can cause skin color changes. Also, mottled skin can be caused by changes in blood vessels under the skin. Hence, this requires an examination by the dermatologist to rule out any fungal infection.
5. Wheezing is occurring more during the night, because of the dust present on the pillow cover. Hence, the pillow cover has to be changed every night before going to bed.
My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of warm water, this will keep the mucosa moist and reduces the pain fast.
2. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times a day. Steam reduces the inflammation around the Eustachian tube and increases the patency of the same and thus reduction of pain.
3. Avoid chilled food & beverages/coffee/smoking (if any).
4. Change the pillow cover every night before going to the bed. This will reduce the episodes of wheezing.
5. Povidone iodine throat spray or gargles to reduce the edema in the throat.
If the symptoms persist, please consult your doctor for a complete evaluation and management.
Hope I have answered your query; I will be available for the follow-up queries.

Acid reflux disease...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing back
Hoarseness and belching are related to each other. Belching happens due to the presence of acid in the stomach. And, when the acid regurgitates into the throat, it induces inflammation.
Repeated regurgitation causes sore throat, foreign body sensation, excess phlegm in the throat, hoarseness, etc.
I would suggest you to follow the instructions as described in my previous response, you will definitely feel better.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery.
