Brief Answer:
Server's disease. Self limiting. Needs rest

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

It's common for children his age to have heel pain. Commonly Sever's disease causes heel pain.

There is inflammation of the growth plate of the heel bone due to overactivity, jumping and running. Commonly seen in adolescents. It would be best to keep the limb elevated, apply ice, and provide rest. Avoid sports and running for few weeks. It should subside in 2 to 8 weeks. Calf muscle stretching and Hamstring stretching exercises are also helpful to perform.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
