Question : Why would my tongue be sore for months?

I have no other signs of a sore tongue/ inside of my left cheek besides it looks cracked, and no taste buds. My tongue often swells.

-Fungal infection (you may try any fungal gel like candid gel or miconazole for some days it might help you ) .
- vitamin B12 and folate deficiency .
- Anemia due to iron deficiency .
- Drug induced .
- Medical cindition like Diabetes , constipation .
- overusing of mouthwash can cause such problem .
- Anxiety and stress related .
For this I will suggest some remedies : Maintain proper oral hygiene , use tongue scaper to clean your tongue , drink plenty of water , avoid hot and spicy food , you can chew sugar free chewing gums , you can take vitamin supplements by consulting with local doctor .
