Suggest Treatment For Sores In Genital Area
Question: Actually i had sex wid my husband first time n i got sores in my genital area. After getting examined i got to kno i ws suffering from herpes infection. I got treatment for the same. I got this infection first time in life. I want to kno if my husband needs medical attention or not. If so , please prescribe some medicine for him as he is hesitant to go to a dr. Plz reply wid a suitable answer..

There is possiblity of herpes infection in your husband. Look for any lesions.
If present he may need full course of antiviral like acyclovir after consultation with doctor.Both take treatment simultaneously. I use acyclovir 200mg 5 times a day for 5-7 days in such cases.
Avoid intercourse when active lesions are present in either of them.
