Suggest Treatment For Stage 4 Alcoholic Cirrhosis With Ascites And Varices
Please provide specific questions you may have...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through the reports you uploaded and have noticed that you have stage 4 alcoholic hepatic cirrhosis.
With regards to treatment, to my opinion, lactulose and human albumin therapy should be added.
I advise to monitor 24 hours diuresis. The normal range should be 1.5 to 2 liters/24 hours.
With regards to treating varices, you should discuss with GI interventionist about the possibility of ligature therapy or sclerotherapy.
I advise to discuss with your doctor about adding to the awaiting list for liver transplant.
You should not consume alcohol, even in very small amounts.
Hope it helped! Let me know if you have further specific question! I'd be happy to assist you further!
God bless!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXXX
Unfortunately, from the reports you provided, your liver is decompensated. According to MELD classification, your score is 23 points, and is indicative for liver transplant. When the scores of the patient are higher than 16 points, the patient is considered a candidate for liver transplant.
All the best!
