Suggest Treatment For Stenosis In The Cervical Spine
Question: I was recently diagnosed with stenosis in my cervical spine. I had a steroid shot 3 weeks ago which relieved most of my shoulder pain and reduced the sensations in my shoulders. About a week ago I started getting uncontrollable shaking in my shoulders when I lie down to sleep which keeps repeating several times a minute. Sometime I experience the twitching during the day when sitting. Is this new problem likely caused by the cervical stenosis or a symptom of another medical condition? Which type of physician should I see for this new problem. My age is 75. My shoulders jump up and shake from the condition.
Brief Answer:
Do cervical exercise.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query.
If your head also shake with shoulder then its other problem.
Otherwise its due to same previous stenosis.
Don't worry, just try to avoid weightlifting, and do cervical extension and flexion exercises.
Take medication which I am advising you, like, cap.rabiprazole empty stomach, tab.aceclofenac100mg+thiocolchicoside4mg twice a day, pregabalin75mg+methylcobalamine750mcg at night.
Apply hot packs.
If symptoms still persists for more than 7 days, then go for another steroid shot.
I hope it helps.
Thanks,
