Suggest Treatment For Stomach Bloating And Passing Of Gas

Question: hi Dr. my stomach is feeling bloated and gaseous since the last couple of days. bowel movements are not completely clear. Please suggest something to address this.

I also wanted to ask for a prescription of a de worming medicine that I could take.

Thanks for the query

Bloated stomach is often due to gastritis. Here is what you should do

1. Tab Omeprazole with domperidone combination once a day in the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach for 7 days
2. Do not consume milk, milk products, caffeine
3. Keep your diet bland
4. Do not sleep immediately after dinner, stay up for atleast 2 hours
5. Do not smoke or drink alcohol until you are better

I usually prescribe Tablet albendazole (one tablet after dinner) for de worming. It has to be repeated after 2 weeks. This is my suggestion, we are not allowed to prescribe

The de worming tab you suggested ...After a repeat dose 2 weeks later, has to be stopped ? at what frequency should you deworm

You will have to take a total of 2 tablets, one now and then once again 2 weeks later.
I de worm my patients who eat out constantly once every year
