Brief Answer:
added medicines
Detailed Answer:
HI.
IF the loose motions and the
vomiting stopped with the said medicines, means they are working positively and and well. You have to compete the course of minimum 5 days.
Pain now is suggestive of two things:
Norflox TZ has a tendency to cause acidity in addition to
gastroenteritis she already has. Another possibility is the colitis part of the disease, meaning the large bowel really takes a long time to heal and that is why she is getting pains when passing apparently normal stools.
I would suggest::
Continue Norflox TZ twice daily for 1 to 3 days
Ondem MD if nausea or vomiting
ADD ::
Ranitidine 150 twice daily
Clomin 1 tablet if pain in abdomen
Electral 1 XXXXXXX in a liter of water 1 to 2 in a day
Pre-pro or Daroloac twice daily.
Becozinc or such preparations once a day
Tablet Gasex or Flatuna ( activated
charcoal tablets) 2 tablets thrice daily help to remove the toxins from the intestines)
Give her curd-rice banana / halawa and whatevershe knows - suits her
I hope this helps you.
She will be fine soon.
If the problem persists
Please go for tests:
CBP ( complete blood picture)
Urine
Stool
Widal for typhoid
Blood sugar
Urea and creatinine
* All the tests to rule out any medical problem -as Madam is 52 - this is on a safer side and
Change over to :
Cefixime 200 twice daily
Metrogyl 400 thrice daily ( after a course of Norflox TZ for minimum of 5 days)
Rest of the added medicines to continue.
Wishing for an early recovery.
