Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Vomiting

Looks like a prodrome of viral diarrhea
Detailed Answer:
HI...I feel that she might be having a prodrome of viral diarrhoea. Usually it starts with vomiting and later watery diarrhoea starts and remits in 4-5 days.. If there is vomiting you can use Syrup Ondansetron (as prescribed by your paediatrician). It is a prescription drug.
If diarrhoea starts - I suggest you use zinc supplements (Z&D drops 1ml once daily for 14 days) & ORS (Each small packet mixed in 200ml of potable water and keep giving sip by sip) as hydration is very important and crucial part of treatment.
Once it starts it will take 5-7 days to completely get better. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.
If you have any vomiting medicine at home, kindly get back along with the weight of the kid and I will suggest you the dose.

Suggestions on ORS
Detailed Answer:
Hi.... Other options for rehydration -
1. Avoid fruit juices.
2. You can give buttermilk with salt and sugar.
3. Curd with minimal sugar added for taste.
4. Avoid high sugar in diet and liquids.
Fruit juices contain high fructose content which will aggravate diarrhea.
Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.

She might need intravenous fluids
Detailed Answer:
Hi...By what you quote I feel that she is dehydrated and might require intravenous fluids as her urine out put is low and she is preferring to sleep.
Kindly meet your local pediatrician and get her hydration status checked. If required they will check and decide if intravenous fluids are required.
