Suggest Treatment For Stomach Worms And Itching In Anal Region

Question: Hi, I think i am having stomach worms. In the morning after passing stool, i feel itchiness in the anus. I have seen a local doctor and he usually prescribes Bandy plus or Bendex-400 (Albendazole) tablets. After having that, the feeling of itchiness goes temporarily but it again comes back after a week or two. I am facing this since last six months and I have also lost about 7-8 kg body weight in last one year. Is there any cure to this problem of stomach worms. Pls suggest any dietary or lifestyle changes that I need to make to get rid of worms or any specific type of food i should avoid.
Brief Answer:
Local skin lesions, diabetes, coffee, beer
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Worm infestation is just one of the causes itching in the anal region.
Other causes include local dermatitis (skin lesion), mucus discharge from perianal fistula, diabetes , and may even be related to coffee, beer etc.
Get your perianal area examined.
Avoid coffee, beer.
Check your blood glucose levels.
And most importantly wash gently after a bowel movement and do not keep rubbing that area.
You can take cetzine for relief from itching.
I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
