Question: ge : 23
Gender: Male

Symptoms :
Felt such stress when went to XXXXXXX alone.. That I felt like I wasn't myself,  I felt like another person.. I felt like my memoried were like a movie.. I felt sooo weird and tried to act normal as possible.
Waking up very confused,  not knowing my own family that well, or myself..  Especially on a sudden awake.
OCD
Harm thoughts
 centered intrusive thoughts
I had the unwanted thoughts Since XXXXXXX year in high school.. It jus came on randomly without alarm. Even tho I noticed little small ocd symptoms when was younger that was more centered around checking things or touching something with left hand instead of right. And it was soo distressing. That I became depressed almost.  Or if I click a button one more time with a certain finger I would be ok.  Or performing certain mentsl compulsion that I was a good person. Or checking the iron one more time before leaving to make sure I didn't leave anything on (that type of ocd wasn't never a severe thing tho.) WHAT do you think all this could be.. I have never had medication or ever seen a m doctor to correct the problem..

Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

The symptoms you describe above are consistent with a potential diagnosis of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). I do believe you can feel better with treatment. Treatment of this condition in your case would consist of a high dose SSRI antidepressant such as Lexapro uptitrated to 20mg daily. This would need to be combined with exposure-responsive-prevention psychotherapy (ERP). This combination treatment of an SSRI with psychotherapy is highly effective for OCD, and I strongly believe your symptoms would be improved by them.
